The glass used for the production of TDA shower enclosures are tempered and conformed to the European normative, EN 14428:2018.
The hardening is a process of chemistry and physics that requires the heating of the glass to reach 600 °C and above and its rapid cooling to lock the external surfaces in a compression status and the internal part in a status of tightness. Once the hardening is done, it will be impossible to complete any other processing, such as cutting, drilling, or side grinding. The tempered glass is considered a safe product because, in case of breaking, its components will fragment in small pieces. In order to prevent the annoing accumulation of limestone on the glass of the shower enclosure, TDA proposes NEVERDROP® treatment.

TDA shower enclosures are both conformed to the qualitative standards outlined by the European Normative, EN 14428:2018, and marked with the CE acronym. The DoP (Declaration of Performances) can be downloaded from the downloads section.
Neverdrop®

Neverdrop® is an innovative protection for the glass composed of nanoparticles. It is a very thin and transparent film that makes the glass surface easy to clean and highly hydrophobic. The NEVERDROP® treatment is not definitive. Its effect's duration depends on both how often the product is used, how the product is maintained, and the water's quality. It is advisable to repeat the tratment once a year using the cleaning kit provided on our e-shop.
