SHOWER ENCLOSURES MATERIALS

GLASS

The glass that TDA uses for shower enclosures undergo a double rigid quality control process, both at the supplier and during the production process, are hardened and comply with EN 14428:2018. The hardening process should be carried out only after cutting, grinding of the edges and drilling of the glass sheet, which is brought to a temperature of 640° and then cooled down quickly. This process allows to obtain a totally safe glass, which in case of breakage will be broken into small harmless pieces, in accordance with the above mentioned legislation. The glasses can be chosen in different thicknesses from 4 to 10 mm and with different finishes according to the chosen product line; the customization is guaranteed.

PROFILES

The profiles of TDA shower enclosures are made of aluminum or stainless steel. Aluminium profiles are obtained by extrusion, a production process that consists of pushing a cylindrical billet of preheated aluminium into a shaped die. The profile thus obtained is cut to size and then subjected to an anodising process to obtain the finishes Tcrom, Tbrill, Tinox, Tbronz, orosatinate, ororosa and chromo-black or painted in one of TDA 48 colours.02. Anodizing and painting are intended to protect the aluminum from natural corrosion making it durable and aesthetically perfect. In the "vogue" finish, each component, of any material, is painted in the same color to obtain the "total color" effect.
